Lauren is a passionate linguist and loves Spanish and Italian! Lauren first learnt Spanish at school and at college and went on to spend her gap year teaching in a school in Bolivia. Lauren has a first class honours degree in Spanish and Italian from the University of Exeter with distinction in spoken Spanish and Italian. Lauren has a working background in translation and has taught Spanish and Italian privately as well as English as a foreign language to groups and online. Lauren also has a CELTA certificate to teach English to adults. Currently she is trying to learn Romanian outside of work so she knows what is like to learn a language and struggle with it! Other than languages Lauren enjoys baking and cooking for family and friends (especially Italian and Spanish food) as well as drinking good coffee in cafes.
