We offer fun, stress-free lessons with no exams and no compulsory homework in relaxed but highly structured and effective classes, where a large part of the lesson is spent talking to other learners. Our conversations have been created specifically for adults, and we have a coffee morning atmosphere, where we make sure that everyone feels at ease and able to join in! Below is information about all of our classes.

Beginners
If you are a true beginner or Francophobic, this course is for you! You will approach the language slowly but surely to acquire the basics through fun activities and small conversations.

Improvers
If you learnt a bit of French at school but feel you have forgotten it all, come with us, it will soon come back.

Improvers +
You have some basic knowledge of past and present tenses and would like to learn how to share your experiences with a French -or francophone- person? This course is for you.

Intermediate
If you are starting to feel more independent but would like to get more fluent, come and join us.

Advanced
If you can use the past, the future and the conditional but avoid the subjunctive if at all possible, come and join the club!

French conversation
you would like to have chats in little groups to acquire confidence or try and make long gone -so you think- high level conversations come back, come and chat with us.

Other classes can be arranged according to demand - just let us know what level and what day and time you would like, and we will see what we can arrange!

Bethan is a French Honours Graduate who has 20 years’ teaching experience. She teaches 300 pupils per week, as well as taking private GCSE and A’Level students. She lived in Perpignan, in the south of France, for a year and has a holiday home just south of the Loire Valley where she is active in the community and has made many friends there. She loves France and all things French and is still in regular contact with her French exchange friend from when she was 14! She has a busy family life and has a passion to share her knowledge in a fun way.

Megan is a Spanish honours graduate with A' Level French, who has teaching experience in both Spain and England. She has lived in the south east of Spain , where she taught English to both children and adults. Megan regularly visits Spain and France and has a vast knowledge of the cultures and traditions. Megan only recently completed her Spanish degree, so has a very modern and fun teaching method, based on her experience as a language learner. She has studied both French and Spanish for 12 years and loves languages!

Amélie is studying a French degree at University of Nottingham and has experience of teaching to GCSE and A'level standard. She loves France and teaching French and spends several weeks per year in France. She has French friends and loves eating out, sewing, crochet and travelling.
