Welcome to our French for Fun classes in Woodhouse Eaves, Quorn and Loughborough.
Sarah and myself Audrey would love to welcome you in one of our classes.

If you have tried to learn a language before and want to try again this could be just the type of class you are looking for - relaxed, sociable and good fun with no exams to push for and no being put on the spot ! We are dedicated to giving you confidence to speak in real-life situations.

We had to move our classes to Zoom for most part of the last 3 terms.
If the roadmap out of lockdown as expected, some of our classes will be able to go back face-to-face as soon as allowed (4 classes online/ 6 face-to-face if the date of 17th may is confirmed). We will of course be monitoring government guidances and speak regularly with our venues, all ready to welcome us again as soon as we can safely do so. Our covid-safe policies worked really well last September, and we managed to have a lot of fun, despite doing a lot more cleaning, staying distanced, and wearing visors (that we provide) during the classes.

Do not hesitate to get in touch. As you will see below we offer many levels, which are not always self-explanatory, so we are always happy to have a chat to understand where you are in your language learning journey and find together which class will be the best for you !

We look forward to hearing from you
Audrey and Sarah

Bonjour !

I’m Audrey. I'm French, and moved to the UK at the beginning of 2017, to follow my husband in a work opportunity. After the whole family was properly settled down in the country, I was very excited to join Language for Fun. I can’t wait to share with you my knowledge of France, French culture, and of course the beautiful but sometimes tricky French language !!!

I am originally from Lyon, a beautiful city I love, famous for its architecture, but mainly for its amazing food, and sometimes for the traffic jams under its tunnel on the way to the South of France !!! But i also used to travel a lot around the world, and love new discoveries and sharing with others. I’m looking forward to meeting you for your new French adventure.

A très bientôt !!!

Salut!

Hi, I'm Sarah and ever since my horizon-expanding school exchanges I've been passionate about language learning.

A degree in Modern Languages (French & German) and Business Studies included a year out at Grenoble University in the Alps and led to many years working abroad for Placoplâtre, Rigips, British Gypsum and Pepsico amongst others and I love being able to share my experiences with other language learners.

I trained as a Secondary school teacher in 2000 and have taught languages at GCSE and A Level from Brighton to Loughborough and most recently have thoroughly enjoyed teaching in Nurseries and Primary Schools.

As a lover of all things French, I really enjoy helping both young and old alike with their language learning journeys and can't wait to see you in a class soon!

A bientôt, Sarah
