Our classes are relaxed with no exams or compulsory homework. We focus on conversations about ourselves that help us to speak the language with confidence and motivate us to understand what people are saying back to us. You will never have to talk in front of the whole class – unless you want to – as we’ve designed a method which gets everyone talking at the same time!

Although the atmosphere is relaxed, the class is highly structured. This helps you to make progress while at the same time feeling at ease and knowing what to expect each week. Through carefully prepared conversations, you will get to know other learners in the language that you want to learn

The terms start in September, January, and April (school terms) but please do contact us anytime as we love to welcome new students where there are spaces available in the class.
We will shortly be announcing our full programme of daytime and evening classes for January. Places will be offered to current students first then those on our waiting list. If you would like to join our waiting list please get in touch.

Ciao! My name is Chiara and I am from Italy. I have been living in the UK since 2011. Since then, I obtained a PhD degree in Cold War history, worked as a graduate teaching assistant and tutor. Besides a keen interest in history, I have always been fascinated by languages. It all started with a trip to a village in the South of France with my family when I was 14 years old. The desire to communicate with people in their own language led me to choose to study modern languages at school and at university. To share my passion for foreign languages and cultures, I became a Language for Fun tutor. I am looking forward to starting this journey through Italian language with you. A presto!
