Language for Fun classes are designed to be relaxed, informal and enjoyable conversation classes. They follow a carefully structured programme which can take you all the way from a complete Beginner to Improvers to Advanced level.
She will talk to you personally and help you choose the best course for your level. She truly cares about every learner. She will support and encourage you and will give you the confidence to speak French straight away.

You will learn in a small group. The highly structured curriculum has been specifically designed for adult learners who want to learn French for fun as a hobby. It focuses on speaking and communication skills. You don't have to do homework unless you want to. You’ll get to meet new friends and enjoy the social aspect of the lesson in a lovely setting.
Our French Beginners course is perfect if you've never done any French before, but there are other improvers and intermediate courses for those who have learnt some French at school in the past and need to dust it off a bit! We go right through with our own bespoke curriculum to Advanced and beyond so there's something for you even if you are a hardened Francophile and want some advanced French conversation classes.

Bonjour! I’m Florence – welcome to Language for Fun in Guisborough, where you can build your confidence in French in a relaxed, friendly environment.
I’m originally from Brittany, France, and I’m a qualified, experienced teacher with a passion for helping adults enjoy learning and speaking French — whatever your starting point. I love making French feel accessible, and I believe everyone can have real conversations, even without being perfect!
