Spanish - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
Beginners with no prior Spanish experience.
Those who can’t commit to weekly classes.
Travellers looking for a quick language boost before a holiday.
Anyone wanting to refresh their Spanish skills in a fun and fast-paced environment.
Beginners 1 “Todo Sobre Mí”
The course starts with the basics: hello, goodbye, what’s your name; but builds up quickly to short conversations based on your real life. By the end of the course you will be able to:
• greet people
• have a simple conversation about your family, your job, nationality and possessions
• buy food in a shop and get information about opening times
• use numbers to 100
We’ll have a half-hour break for lunch each day, plus short coffee breaks. You’re welcome to bring a packed lunch or use the club bar/café.

Having learned French at school, I spent a couple of years living in France in my early twenties. On returning to England I went on to have a family and a career with a physical theatre company. During this time, my love for languages came back to the surface and I completed a degree in French and Spanish and did two extended road trips with my family, through France and Spain. I really look forward to sharing what I know of these beautiful languages, using the relaxed, friendly and effective methodology of Language for Fun.
