I have been attending Spanish Language for Fun for two terms now after previously attending a night school course at college that I wasn’t very impressed with. I have learnt so much more with Christianne and have lots of fun whilst learning. I can’t believe how much more information that I retain during her lessons. I am currently on holiday in Spain and I am astounded at how much Spanish I am using and I feel so much more confident when talking to Spanish people (especially as they can understand me!). I would thoroughly recommend Language for Fun with Christianne, believe me you will definitely have FUN!

Just what I need
Really enjoying French for Fun in Whitstable every Friday. A very relaxed way to improve your French but at the same time, it’s definitely stretching me, which is what I need!

Positive, relaxed atmosphere
I really enjoy my French Friday lessons with Vicki and the people I've met through the sessions.
Vicki is a very good teacher, explaining the information clearly and in a positive, relaxed atmosphere. The lessons are fun but at the same time the course has really stretched my understanding of the language.
I would definitely recommend it.

I was apprehensive about having lessons online – I am so glad I did!
I was very apprehensive about having Spanish lessons via zoom, but my family persuaded me saying it would be foolish to give up, and carrying on would be good for me during the lockdown.
I have to say I am so glad I did! I can see my classmates and catch up with their news. Even though it’s not quite the same as meeting for coffee at the Dog and Partridge it’s still good fun.
I have nothing but praise for Louise she has put so much into making it all work. The lessons are great - we get through a lot of work but have fun at the same time.
Louise is also very generous with her time and with help of her lovely family we had a great quiz before starting the new term.
I would highly recommend Louise to anyone wanting to learn Spanish

we have enjoyed them tremendously
This is the fourth stage of our Language for Fun lessons with Louise - we have enjoyed them tremendously.
The lessons have refreshed what I vaguely remember learning at school, plus we have learned so much more. There is a particular focus on practical aspects, such as greeting people, shopping, travel, eating out and making bookings, etc. Excellent preparation for holidays and a good foundation for those who wish to go on to become more fluent.
Louise has also arranged get-togethers and other fun events.

Supportive, friendly and encouraging
I am thoroughly enjoying 'Language for Fun' classes which I began in Jan 2019. The classes, led by Vicki, are supportive, friendly and encouraging and it has also been a great opportunity to meet new people.
I would very much recommend 'Language for Fun' which lives up to its name!

Review from Jean
I enjoyed learning Spanish with Lauren. The beginners' course assumes no knowledge of the language at all, which was ideal for me. After 10 lessons., Lauren gave me the confidence that I could ask some basic questions and perhaps even understand the answers! The course material is focussed on every day words and phrases which was exactly what I wanted. If you plan to speak Spanish in South America, Lauren's course is ideal because she has lived and worked in Bolivia

Learn lot and no homework
French for Fun lives up to its name! We learn French phrases which you would use every day, in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. I could not recommend the courses more highly if you would like to improve your French conversation and listening skills quickly - without actually having to do any homework!

I can speak in real life !
"I have just got back from Majorca... and had several almost normal conversations to the point where the lady in the gift shop refused to use English...forcing me to use Spanish which I did quite well if I say so myself! My point is I felt I didn't understand … much but the difference ...compared to last year is MASSIVE so thank you very much and look forward to next term."
