          About 
    

      

        
Having learned French at school, I spent a couple of years living in France in my early twenties. On returning to England I went on to have a family and a career with a physical theatre company. During this time, my love for languages came back to the surface and I completed a degree in French and Spanish and did two extended road trips with my family, through France and Spain. I really look forward to sharing what I know of these beautiful languages, using the relaxed, friendly and effective methodology of Language for Fun.

            Exactly what I've wanted          

          

            Language for fun is exactly that! I've wanted to learn / improve on my very basic French for ages, but I didn't want to feel pressurised or to have formal homework! I've been attending classes for two terms now and I'm so enjoying it. The group is small and friendly and as we've got to know each other our confidence to speak has grown. The relaxed pace of learning really suits me and my knowledge has definitely improved. If you have been wanting to learn French but put off by 'returning to the classroom' then this is probably the course for you!

            Lives up to its name!          

          

            French for Fun lives up to its name! We learn French phrases which you would use every day, in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. I could not recommend the courses more highly if you would like to improve your French conversation and listening skills quickly  - without actually having to do any homework!             Not lots of homework between sessions          

          

            You get ample opportunity to contribute and learn without having to do lots of work between the weekly sessions. The venue is a good environment for learning as a group. Everyone is friendly and participate actively, willingly sharing their experiences of French life and culture (Kevin)
