Beginners 1 “All About Me”
Suitable for real beginners or the truly terrified. This course starts with the basics: hello, goodbye, what’s your name; but builds up quickly to short conversations based on your real life. By the end of the course you will be able to:
· greet people
· have a simple conversation about your family, your job, nationality and possessions
· buy food in a shop and get information about opening times
· use numbers to 100

Beginners 2 “Around the town”
This course is suitable for learners who have some basic skills like counting, greetings and buying items. You will build up new vocabulary and learn useful language for getting by around town. By the end of this course you will be able to:
· ask for and give basic directions
· ask what there is in the area
· ask and say what time things open
· find out information about bus times
· order food in a restaurant
· say what you like and don’t like
Beginners 3 “On holiday”
This course is suitable for learners who already have some experience of the language, but need to improve their use of the present tense before expanding their vocabulary and would like to develop confidence in typical holiday scenarios. By the end of this course you will be able to:
· Talk about where you go on holiday
· get information in a train station
· ask and talk about the weather
· book a hotel room
· get help in a pharmacy and talk about simple health problems
· get help in a lost property office by describing items
· find out tourist information
