This course is suitable for people who would like to consolidate fluency skills and review the tenses previously covered with a “light touch”. You’ll get lots of practice chatting about every day topics – mainly in the present tense but bringing in all your prior learning at Improvers and Intermediate – and spend a bit of time with the irregular verbs that don’t follow the rules! Claudia is a very friendly, enthusiastic Italian lady from Sardinia. She's lived in the UK since 1998, and she moved to St Albans from London in 2003 with her family but she, of course, considers herself very Italian! Having studied English and French language and literature at Universita' di Cagliari, she started teaching in 2012 in two local primary schools, where she still runs "Italian club". Claudia also teaches primary and secondary courses partly funded by the Italian embassy for Italian families in the area, run by the Italian school in London (SIAL) once a week. She does private tuition every evening for young and older children (including GCSEs) and adults. Fortnightly, she hosts "Conversazione in Italiano", an Italian conversation practice group, at Sopwell house.
Claudia is very passionate about her work and she's very excited to continue her adventure with "Language for fun", having covered some lessons for a friend a few years ago."
