Buongiorno!

I am a native speaker from a small town in Northern Italy, near Turin. I am an art historian, and have studied and worked as a tour guide in Florence for a few years before moving to the UK, where I now work in museums while completing my PhD in art history.

            I have been learning Italian with the Learning for Fun team in St Albans for the last two terms. I have enjoyed it very much. The tutor is good and very helpful in providing additional materials and making suggestions, for example, other books to try to read, movies to watch, online apps etc. The pace is great for me - i'm in my sixties and never been that great with languages.             I had a fantastic time this term, Olivia is a lovely teacher, with a relaxed teaching style and always willing to push you further and improve your knowledge.
