French - Intermediate

This course is suitable for people who have done some French before (maybe GCSE/ O level a long time ago!). You’ll get totally comfortable with chatting in the present tense – and spend a bit of time with the irregular verbs that don’t follow the rules! By the end of this course you will be able to:

• talk about what you like to do at the weekend and on holiday
• talk about your lifestyle, habits and daily routine
• talk about your pets
• talk about your language learning habits and what else you love
• use the present tense with confidence and become familiar with important irregulars

There are no exams and there is no compulsory homework for this course.  We aim to build your confidence with speaking and listening in French. We focus on communication, not perfection!

The course will start on Thursday 15th January 2026 and run for 9 more weeks with a break for half term on 19th February. The course costs £165 for 10x 90 min lessons. Please pay a deposit of £50 by 19th December to reserve your place. I kindly ask that full fees are paid before the first class of the term.
