This course is ideal for:
Learners who already have some experience and are comfortable using the present tense. This class will use real-life conversations to help your grammar, build your vocabulary and introduce the future tense. Come and join us! There’s no judgment here, just learning in a fun and relaxed environment with like-minded people.

Bonjour! I’m Jo and I have spent more years than I care to remember playing around with and enjoying learning languages. I am a qualified adult education tutor and a French graduate who lived and taught for a while in central France. I also taught English as a Foreign Language for a while which gave me a great insight into how the English language works.
I just love the French language though and I get back to France whenever I can to climb, walk or bike, feel some sunshine and simply to surround myself with the sounds of the language and French life. I’ve been teaching French now for about 7 years and never tire of it. Language is forever changing and I just love its quirks and idiosyncrasies.
I know just what it’s like learning a new language too– I’ve been trying to learn Greek of late as a complete beginner and it’s not easy remembering all the new vocab and grammar. But it does get easier and I do get a buzz when I manage to say something that is understood!
This course focuses on modern everyday spoken French so brilliant for giving you the confidence to speak when on holiday, working or moving out to live in France.
