We focus on communication, and conversation, but follow a structured course so you can see your progress and use your notes to revise. You will build up new vocabulary and create sentences you will be able to use in real life.
If you join after the course has started you pay for the remaining classes of the term, plus your materials.
This class will be running at The Monument Pub with some learners joining via Zoom. Drinks and snacks are available to buy.
I have always loved languages and studied French and German at school and then French and Russian at university. I've also learnt a little bit of Spanish, and even tried learning Mandarin and Korean, which are very tricky! I am passionate about sharing my love of languages with others. I am friendly and patient, and my classes are lots of fun. I don't put pressure on learners, but make sure they all feel comfortable to ask questions and have a go. Communication is more important than perfection! I have some learners who have been with me for five years, who have progressed from Improvers to Advanced level, or from Beginners to Intermediate level. I love to see learners increasing in confidence and enjoying their language learning. I have been teaching French for over 15 years and enjoy making language learning accessible and fun for everyone.
