French - Intermediate
This course is ideal for:
Ever had a problem in a restaurant or being understood?
Want a holiday recommendation or to buy at the market like a local? Want to hire a bike or chat to the taxi driver? Get ready to practise your perfect tense and perfect your pronouns to enable you to talk about anything from local excursions to finding parking spaces! This course is suitable for people who can get by in most simple situations and are starting to develop confidence using the past tense. By the end of this course you will be able to:
• use the present perfect “I have been, I have done” to talk about your experiences
• Use object pronouns to say things like “I told her”, “I bought it”
• Discuss the weather in the past, present and future

Course Teacher
Having learned French at school, I spent a couple of years living in France in my early twenties. On returning to England I went on to have a family and a career with a physical theatre company. During this time, my love for languages came back to the surface and I completed a degree in French and Spanish and did two extended road trips with my family, through France and Spain. I really look forward to sharing what I know of these beautiful languages, using the relaxed, friendly and effective methodology of Language for Fun.
