If you’ve never touched a word of French in your life.
If you know some very basics but couldn’t go beyond greetings.
If you’ve done some French at school or uni but can hardly remember anything.

WHAT YOU’LL BE ABLE TO SAY BY THE END OF THE COURSE
We’ll start with the very basics and quickly build up to short everyday conversations.

Greeting people
Simple conversations about your family, your job, nationality and possessions
Buying food in a shop and getting information about opening times
Using numbers upto 100

Beginner - Beginners 1 Course Information

Starting Date: 04/06/2026

Lesson Duration: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The course begins on Thurs 4th June and finishes on Thurs 14th August. * There won’t be any class on Thurs 25th June * If you miss a class, don’t worry. I’ll email you a short lesson summary along with the worksheets for you to catch up before the next class. You don’t need to bring any materials as all worksheets, and word cards will be provided. You might want a small dictionary for reference but that’s optional. Core Cafe at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre is in Swiss Cottage. It’s a 6 mins walk from Swiss Cottage Tube and well connected on the bus network.
