Planning a holiday to France? How about learning some key words and phrases to enrich your holiday experience?
What will I learn in the day?
This course starts with the basics – a, b, c and 1, 2, 3 – but builds up quickly to short conversations based on your real life.
There will be the opportunity to continue your learning with further weekend courses.
You will have all printed material provided, and also access to our online learning area to enable you to practise and review what you have learned. Lunch will be provided.
You will need a pen and paper, and a small French dictionary if you already have one.
Although this one day course is intense, it is an effective “springboard” to your language learning journey. This is particularly useful if you are unable to commit to a regular weekly class, but anyone is welcome. You may also find it useful as a “crammer” before going on holiday or to a French-speaking country for work.

Having learned French at school, I spent a couple of years living in France in my early twenties. On returning to England I went on to have a family and a career with a physical theatre company. During this time, my love for languages came back to the surface and I completed a degree in French and Spanish and did two extended road trips with my family, through France and Spain. I really look forward to sharing what I know of these beautiful languages, using the relaxed, friendly and effective methodology of Language for Fun.
Send me an email or call me for more information, I'd love to help you whether you're learning from scratch, or equally wanting to advance your knowledge!
