¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to Spanish For Fun in Sutton Coldfield! Classes are mainly face-to-face again, with a few exceptions where learners have voted for Zoom. Social events have resumed in person, and we have enjoyed Flamenco Nights in Sutton and Tapas evenings in Birmingham. We look forward to inviting you to lots more Social events to meet other learners and practise your language skills.

We offer fun, stress-free lessons with no exams and no compulsory homework in relaxed but highly structured and effective classes, where a large part of the lesson is spent talking to other learners. Our conversations have been created specifically for adults and we try to create a dinner party/coffee morning atmosphere, where we make sure that everyone feels at ease and is able to join in! Group numbers are kept small to allow everyone to play an active part in classes.

We offer a range of levels from Beginners, to Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced. All in relaxed and friendly small groups to give you lots of opportunities to have a go.

If you'd like to find out more about our programme please get in touch, and either come along to one of our free taster sessions or alternatively you could pop along to an existing class to see how it works. We understand that joining a language class can be daunting - let us help you take the first step to learning a new language or brushing up on an existing one.

¡Hola!
School exchanges to France and Spain ignited a lifelong passion for learning other languages and cultures, which I love to share. A degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and French) and Marketing Studies led to a work placement in Barcelona, which I still feel is my second home. My first career in banking made me realise how much I missed languages so I trained as a teacher in Adult Education, teaching Spanish to adults whilst my children were young (and taking Italian as a hobby!).
When the opportunity arose to work in schools, I grabbed the opportunity and gained experience in many different schools with children from 5 – 18.
Having joined Language For Fun as a Tutor I was so impressed that I soon became a licensee. I love helping people discover the fun side of learning languages! I look forward to meeting you - Sharon x
