Lovely, lively Spanish lessons now enrolling for this Summer (July/August) and September 2025!
Beginners 1 “All About Me”: This course is suitable for real beginners or the truly terrified! 5 - week intensive courses (July-August) or 10 -week courses September 2025
Beginners 3 “On holiday”: This course is suitable for learners who already have some experience of the language, but need to improve their use of the present tense before expanding their vocabulary and would like to develop confidence in typical holiday scenarios.
Beginners Revision “Easy as 1,2,3”: This course is suitable for learners who already have studied our Beginners 1,2 and 3 courses or learners who need some revision.
Beginners 4 'Refresher' This course is suitable for people who can handle simple situations, have basic conversations about themselves, and find out information from others. You may have already learned the past or future tenses but this course is an opportunity to consolidate some of the trickier aspects of Spanish that you might have come across, including some confusing verbs in the present tense, por and para, and ser and estar
Intermediate: These courses are suitable for learners who have GCSE or O level in the language and can remember most of the grammar (including past present and future tenses). If you can make yourself understood in most situations, and can talk about your daily life reasonably fluently but would like to move on to more complex language and improve your fluency, this course is for you.
Advanced: These courses are suitable for learners who have GCSE or O/A level in the language and can remember most of the grammar (including past present and future tenses). If you can make yourself understood in most situations, and can talk about your daily life reasonably fluently but would like to move on to more complex language and improve your fluency, this course is for you.

Our Course Teachers
I am a Spanish Honours graduate with over 30 years’ teaching experience. I currently teach Spanish at a local secondary school in North Somerset and I started a new language business Lunalingo in May 2020 offering Spanish classes to children in Portishead. I have been teaching adults with Language For Fun since September 2021. I have lived in Valencia and Girona and still have close contacts with my friends there. Valencia is like a second home for me and my family. I love languages and I really looking forward to sharing my love for Spain and all things Spanish with the local community and having fun!
