Lovely, lively Spanish lessons now enrolling for January 2025!
Beginners 1 “All About Me”: Suitable for real beginners or the truly terrified. This course starts with the basics: hello, goodbye, what’s your name; but builds up quickly to short conversations based on your real life.
Beginners 2 “Around the town”: This course is suitable for learners who have some basic skills like counting, greetings and buying items. You will build up new vocabulary and learn useful language for getting by around town.
Beginners 3 “On holiday”: This course is suitable for learners who already have some experience of the language, but need to improve their use of the present tense before expanding their vocabulary and would like to develop confidence in typical holiday scenarios.
Improvers Plus: What have you done today? Have you eaten a nice meal or had a dip in the pool? This course focuses on the present perfect tense using typical holiday situations. Get ready to share your favourite travel memories! This course is suitable for people who are familiar with the present and future tenses and are ready to start learning to use verbs in the past.
Intermediate: This course is suitable for learners who have GCSE or O level in the language and can remember most of the grammar (including past present and future tenses). If you can make yourself understood in most situations, and can talk about your daily life reasonably fluently but would like to move on to more complex language and improve your fluency, this course is for you.
Advanced: This course is suitable for learners who have GCSE or O/A level in the language and can remember most of the grammar (including past present and future tenses). If you can make yourself understood in most situations, and can talk about your daily life reasonably fluently but would like to move on to more complex language and improve your fluency, this course is for you.

Improvers Plus Tuesdays 6pm - 7.30pm pm Clevedon
Improvers 3 Thursdays 2pm-3.30 pm Portishead
Intermediate 3 Thursdays 6 - 7:30 pm Portishead
Advanced Thursdays 7:30 -9 pm Portishead

Our Course Teachers
I am a Spanish Honours graduate with over 30 years’ teaching experience. I currently teach Spanish at a local secondary school in North Somerset and I started a new language business Lunalingo in May 2020 offering Spanish classes to children in Portishead. I have been teaching adults with Language For Fun since September 2021. I have lived in Valencia and Girona and still have close contacts with my friends there. Valencia is like a second home for me and my family. I love languages and I really looking forward to sharing my love for Spain and all things Spanish with the local community and having fun!
