Welcome to Language For Fun in Lichfield!

I offer classes for Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced in Sutton Coldfield. Classes will start in Tamworth on demand, please enquire.

Our language lessons are different because:
 There is no assessment
 We run classes from 6 students upwards and class size is limited to 12
 We provide opportunities to socialise and practise your Italian outside of the class
 We tend to build up a much wider offer of starting points over the years rather than just Beginners / Improvers / Intermediate, please see below :

Beginner 1 – ‘Real Beginner ‘suitable for learners with no previous knowledge of Italian. By the end of this course you will be able to say things about yourself and family or friends.
Beginner 2 – ‘Beginner Plus’ Suitable for learners with very basic knowledge of Italian. By the end of this course you will be able to get by in a town in Italy.
Beginner 3 - ‘Brilliant Beginner’ Suitable for learners who have enough knowledge to get by in Italy and by the end of the course will be able to talk confidently about their holiday.
Come and learn in a relaxed environment - no homework (it is up to you), no test and no stress - and make friends meeting like-minded people who enjoy la dolce vita!

More classes for Improvers and Intermediate/advanced learners can be created depending on demand.

Ciao! I am Mariagrazia (or Maria) and I come from the beautiful prosecco region, in the North East of Italy. I have now lived in Lichfield for 20 years, which makes it my second home.
After obtaining the Cambridge University Proficiency in English I came to the UK for work experience which led me to job opportunities in Lichfield. I was so lucky to discover such a marvellous place!

I decided to stay a little bit longer; I studied Modern Languages and Social Sciences with the Open University and obtained the London Trinity TESOL. After working in EU-funded projects for 17 years I have decided to share my passion for my own language and culture with whoever has a desire to explore Italy and its enormous cultural heritage!

I look forward to meeting you!

Some of our learners have been with us for 15 years! Be patient with yourself - the process of learning a language is never complete but each term you should be that bit more confident to use your newfound skills and get the most out of your travels.
