Welcome to French for Fun in Tewkesbury with Aurore! Come and learn French with us in a friendly, relaxed setting and make friends with like-minded people. Whether you're a complete beginner, virtually fluent, or somewhere in-between, French for Fun can help you reach your language goals, in less time than you think.
With us, homework is optional, grammar is kept to a minimum, and you'll never have to speak in front of the whole group (unless you want to!). No exams, and minimal paperwork - each lesson, you'll be learning new vocabulary and putting it to use in real-life conversations, while learning about French culture along the way. We'll give you handy tips to help you remember new words, so forget the classroom - serious language learning CAN be fun.
I take pride in being a small, locally run language school with a personal touch. When you reach out to learn French with me, I'll personally guide you in selecting the best course, whether you're a French beginner, improver, intermediate, or seeking advanced classes. I like to offer a free taster session, allowing you to experience our classes before committing.
I foster lasting connections, with many of my groups becoming long-term friends. Our Course Teachers
Bonjour, my name is Aurore Chatron-Michaud. I am a French national from the Alps region. Learning English at school has always been challenging for me and humiliating at times but I love traveling, meeting people, learning about different cultures, etc. So I persevered and met some very nice instructors abroad who gave me confidence and made language learning enjoyable. From them, I made incredible progress and I was able to speak English and be understood. I moved to the UK in 2007 with my husband, we have two boys who we are raising bilingual. From my experience, I wanted to help others to learn languages in a fun and positive way and to gain the confidence to speak French. I have offered tutoring and extra-curricular French for all ages since 2012, and I am greatly enjoying seeing my learners' progress and enthusiasm.
