Hello I’m Jackie, I have been a teacher for 30 years and spent 2 years living in France with my daughter and border collie dog. I have taught all age ranges from a five year old, to a man in his sixties, who wanted to learn French so that he could converse with his ski instructor! I was born in Essex, but did my degree and teaching qualification in West Sussex and Hampshire as a mature student. I have never forgotten how terrifying it was walking into that class room for the first time as an adult. I love everything French, the people, and of course the food. I have had family connections there since the late eighties, when my aunt and uncle upped sticks and went to live in the Dordogne. I now have another border collie who needs lots of walks, and I love watching and playing tennis.
I can’t wait to help you begin or continue to learn French with Language for Fun. My classes have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and are a great opportunity to meet like- minded people in the local area and have some fun!
