Would you like to learn - or refresh - some basic French this summer?
Join me for a one-day immersion for French Beginners for adults on Saturday 13th July from 10 - 5pm at Growing Space at St Helen's Church W10. Booking essential.
We will never put you on the spot in front of the whole class, but we promise we’ll have you talking in pairs in the first hour! By the end of the day you will be able to:
-greet people
-have a simple conversation about my family, my job, nationality and possessions
-use the verbs “to have“ and “to be“
-buy food in a shop with “some” and “any”
-find out when shops are open and closed
-use numbers to 100

I have always loved languages, but at school, I didn't think I was very good at them. At 18, I went to work in Paris for a year and came back almost fluent. With renewed confidence, I studied French at University and later qualified as a teacher and recently trained as a language coach. I started Language for Fun for adults because I love learning languages, meeting new people and travelling. I also HATE grammar, exams or tests of any kind and sitting quietly behind a desk. I look forward to helping you gain confidence in your French speaking skills - and having lots of fun along the way.
Search through our extensive range of courses to find the perfect course for you! Choose from Beginners, Improvers, Intermediate and Advanced courses.
If you don't see the perfect course for you, scroll to the bottom of the page to find your nearest language schools and ask the local franchisee if they could start a class on a day or time to suit you.
Some of our learners have been with us for 15 years! Be patient with yourself - the process of learning a language is never complete but each term you should be that bit more confident to use your newfound skills and get the most out of your travels.
