learners who have studied the language before, who may know some of the vocabulary, but who would benefit from a quick overlook of the whole Beginners level before moving onto expressing themselves using the future and the past tenses. This course will enable you to consolidate the Spanish you already know and plug in the gaps in a more intensive way. In this course you will:
-Revise all the key content from our first 3 courses, i.e. Todo Sobre Mí, En la Ciudad and De Vacaciones
-Brush up on all the important grammar from Beginners Level
-Develop confidence with our beginners’ content before moving onto other tenses and more complex grammatical structures.
After this course, learners tend to move on to the Beginners 5 or the Improvers level.
Bonjour/Ciao/¡Hola! I’m French-Italian and I speak Spanish. Growing up on the French Riviera near Italy sparked my love for languages. I studied Music and Languages then moved to the UK for 9 months, and several decades later, I'm still here!
After successfully using my languages in Banking and IT, I became a language teacher and have been teaching for the past 20+ years. I am cheerful, patient and enthusiastic. I am good at helping people of all levels overcome their fear of speaking a foreign language, focusing on building confidence and having fun.
Holidays are spent in France, Italy or Spain with my husband and our two boys, who are brought up bilingually in French but are also learning Spanish and Italian.
I sing in my spare time, walk the dog, look after friends' dogs and grow plants, usually fruit and veg. I love foraging so my children are used to eating "spinach" of dubious provenance. I also teach GCSE and A Level to whomever needs a boost with their exams.
