This is a 10 week course running from September to November 2026.

Who is it for?

This course is suitable for learners who have studied the language before and are comfortable with the present and future tense. We will continue to build your vocabulary and start talking about the past, drawing inspiration from our real lives.

What conversations will you be able to have by the end of the course?

use verbs in the past to talk about your daily routine
describe what you did last week
talk about past holidays
use adjectives to compare objects (bigger than, not as big as, etc.)

Intermediate - Intermediate 1 Course Information

Starting Date: 16/09/2026

Lesson Duration: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

The course begins on Wed 16th September and finishes on Wed 25th November. * There is no class on October 21st * If you miss a class, don’t worry. I’ll email you a short lesson summary along with the worksheets for you to catch up before the next class. You don’t need to bring any materials as all worksheets, and word cards will be provided. You might want a small dictionary for reference but that’s optional. The Core Cafe is located inside Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre. It is close to Swiss Cottage Underground and well connected on the bus network.
