Lessons will run face-to-face in Bebington.

This course is ideal for people who have done some Spanish before. We have already looked at the past, present and future tenses and we will be revising these this term. We will be building vocabulary and having conversations around things like what we like to watch on TV and holidays.

There are no exams and there is no compulsory homework for this course. We aim to build people’s confidence with speaking and listening in Spanish.

The course will start on Tuesday 1st October 2024 and run for 9 more weeks with a break for half term (29th October). The course costs £165 for 10x 90 min lessons. Please pay a deposit of £50 to reserve your place. I kindly ask that full fees are paid before the first class.

What's included?
  • Speaking in pairs and small groups.
  • Fun and friendship in a relaxed, comfortable environment
  • All learning materials (no need to buy a book as well)

About

I am passionate about languages and studied French and Spanish at Cambridge University. I am now a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher at secondary level and have experience of teaching primary level languages all the way up to A level.

I love visiting new places and have spent time travelling around and volunteering in South America. Whenever I go to a new place I always try to have a go at the local language and can often be found clutching my phrase book with a look of polite terror as the person I am talking to replies to my question at top speed! As a result I am able to empathise with learners who feel nervous about speaking in front of others or who have had similar experiences with languages on holiday.

Whether you are starting from scratch, dusting off your high school French and Spanish or perfecting your language skills, Language for Fun classes provide a supportive and relaxed environment to learn and have fun. I hope you will join us!
