Spanish - Improver

Hi, My name is Sarah and I was born in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. I grew up here and went through the local schools and Scarborough Sixth form college. At age 7yrs old I found an old French course my mum had on the shelf and the idea of learning to speak in another language absolutely fascinated me. I studied it cover to cover and practiced on a French girl at primary school and I was hooked by the positive response I received. I then had the chance to continue French and stay there with a family on a summer exchange visit.
I chose Russian as a second language then Spanish at sixth form. My travel adventures started when I landed my dream job as a Holiday rep, first in Mallorca then mainland Spain. I picked up some German along the way and had a rewarding career for over 20yrs fully integrated into Spanish life even taking Flamenco lessons with some of Spain's best dancers. I then married and ended up living on the slopes of Mount Etna on the Italian island of Sicily with a 2yr stay on the island of Sardinia which started my Italian adventure. I picked up Italian quite effortlessly due to being bilingual in Spanish.
My classes are focused on speaking with correct pronunciation and how to use everyday words and phrases in real life settings, just like the locals! I always throw in some humour and cultural experiences from my travels with a strong emphasis on food and drink!
