This course is suitable for learners who have studied the language before and can have a basic conversation about themselves and get by in typical tourist situations. In order to get the most out of this course, you will have an understanding of how to use verbs in the present tense, and be ready to learn how to use them to talk about the future. By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Talk about your holidays and holiday plans

• Talk about where I live and how long you’ve lived there

• Talk about your family in more detail

• Say how you feel

• Express yourself more precisely when asking for things in shops

• Use the simple future tense to make an order in a shop and talk about your future plans

Please note, this course is Part B of Improvers 1 and will cover chapters 5-10 in the workbook before moving on to a new course. Part A (weeks 1-4)was last term [ Sept- Dec]. New learners are welcome and you will receive the full workbook and will be supported to catch up on part A
