Helen is the most wonderful, enthusiastic, supportive and fun spanish teacher - I have studied with other tutors but I love Helen’s approach, she is always encouraging, each session passes by so quickly and at the end of each class, it’s great to see how much we have all achieved together - Helen is great !

They are fun but they also teach you so much. I never thought I would be able to learn it as well as I do! Our group is so nice and we are all friends now. Also don't be afraid of ZOOM lessons as they are fab! If I can do it. anyone can, but it does help having a brilliant teacher like Helen. I look forward to my lesson every week.

Spanish is definitely fun to learn with Helen. Having to learn via zoom, due to lockdown, has been just as good as meeting at a venue. The lessons are well planned and easy to follow. The group is very friendly and we all help and encourage one another. I’m so glad I signed up and challenged myself to learn a new language. I would definitely recommend you give it a try!

Here's what I think!

What a great way to learn a language! I have tried three other times to learn Spanish on courses but never felt as if I wanted to continue due to the students all being at different stages it was too hard for me to keep up and I was getting confused. Things I like about Language for fun, the lessons and grammar are really well structured we speak more in Spanish than I have ever done previously. Our teacher brings out the best in each of us don’t ask me how she does it I don’t know she just does.

I always wanted to learn conversational Spanish but didn’t think a traditional night school would suit me ! Then I found Helen at Spanish For Fun ! I am loving it , we started talking to each other in Spanish almost straight away , simple greetings and questions to start with but we are building on that week on week! I have recently finished a 10-week beginners course in Spanish with Helen. All I can say is she and the classes are fantastic. Helen created a relaxed and friendly haven from the taster session through to the last. The amount I have learnt in the past 10 weeks has certainly surpassed my expectations; this has to be down to Helens fun approach to teaching. Each lesson flew by and I couldn’t wait for the next. I would definitely recommend Helen’s classes to anybody who is interested in learning a new language.
