What we call our Rusty Beginners – learners who have some basic skills like counting, greetings and buying items. You will build up new vocabulary and create sentences you will be able to use straight away in real life.

You will learn to ask about opening and closing times, ask for directions, take transport around town, buy items in shops and order food in restaurants!

All of the above in a small and relaxed setting, with no pressure and no exams – you will gain confidence and conversational skills from day one with friendly and like-minded people.

Lesson Duration: 8:00 pm - 9:15 pm
No lessons during February Half term (week of 17th February). There is a maximum of 10 students per class, so early booking is strongly recommended. For extra info, please contact giulia@languageforfun.uk It is generally possible to join the class at any point during the term.

Ciao a tutti! I am a native Italian who has always been passionate about languages and travelling and I do believe that being able to speak the language of the place you are visiting makes the whole experience much richer, more authentic and fun.
I started learning English as a child and went on to studying French and German at high school and then graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature (English and Spanish) at university whilst moving to live in London, where I have been for the past 18 years.
I also left my comfort zone of European languages and attended an Arabic course, which was very interesting and fun, but so challenging! Thanks to this course, I know what it means to start a language journey as a complete beginner!
My experience in teaching ranges from children and young adults, to older people wanting to learn or improve a language for business or leisure, so I have learnt to adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs.
Regardless of their age and purpose for learning a language, I always encourage my students to go beyond the textbooks and grammar exercises, and to have fun communicating. Grammar rules are necessary, but useless if you are afraid to communicate, so don't be shy and let's get talking!
