Spanish - Beginner

My love for languages began in an after-school club when I was just a child—and it’s never left me. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in French, Spanish, and Italian, each one shaping the way I see the world and connect with others. Whether it was playing with local children in French villages, dancing in summer festivals, or chatting with friends on Spanish climbing trips, I’ve always been drawn to the joy of genuine cultural exchange.

Learning Spanish opened new doors for me at secondary school, and I quickly realised that one language was never going to be enough. I’ve taken every opportunity to explore new languages and cultures—from Russian taster courses to a Japanese exchange programme—but Spanish, in particular, has become a part of my life. I’ve climbed in the Spanish mountains, laughed with Spanish friends over tapas, and admired the country's relaxed, holistic approach to wellbeing and community.

I bring that same spirit into my teaching. For me, learning a language isn’t just about memorising vocabulary—it’s about creating a calm, supportive space where you can build confidence, connect with others, and discover the joy of communication.
