This course is suitable for people who are familiar with the present and future tenses and are ready to start learning to use verbs in the past. By the end of the course you will be able to:
• use the present perfect “I have been, I have done” to talk about your experiences
• Use object pronouns to say things like “I told her”, “I bought it”
• Be confident using verbs like “gustar”, “encantar”

Hello! If you’re looking for a fun way to improve your French or Spanish  my Language for Fun classes could be just right for you. I joined the Language for Fun family in 2021 because I was so impressed with the methodology and materials. I really enjoy teaching with Language for Fun as my learners make so much progress without the stress some adult learning classes involve. I also love sharing and learning more about language and culture with my students. The Language for Fun method allows you to build confidence at your own pace while learning in a relaxed, friendly environment.  Through termly social events in the Bicester area you will have the opportunity to meet like-minded learners and share your experiences of  languages and cultures.

            A thoroughly enjoyable experience          

          

            The course is very well suited to my current ability level. There is a good balance between new vocabulary, key grammar concepts and conversation. Ann takes the time to explain points that need clarifying to ensure I have the correct understanding of a concept. There is careful consideration to French culture which is always of interest. I feel I am making good progress without any stress or compulsion! Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable experience which I would recommend to others interested in improving their French.

            I have now completed three terms with Ann and have enjoyed our lessons very much.
The level is perfect for my level, and she takes great care to match people of a similar standard so that you feel comfortable when learning together.
There is always a friendly atmosphere and a good variety of speaking, reading, grammar and written exercises.
I have improved enormously since starting last year and have also learnt new things about France and French culture through the varied topics of the different lessons.
This course suits those who want to learn a language alongside working and other commitments. There are always exercises to complete in between lessons for those who want to put in the extra work, but no pressure for those who lack the time.
Ann is a great teacher who is reliable and friendly. I highly recommend her and the LFF programme.

            I really enjoyed my classes with Ann Poole, French for Fun. I’d been looking for a while for sociable, conversation classes that allowed me to learn new vocabulary and revise the French that I learned a long time ago. The classes involve learning through conversation, writing, listening and reading. This class fulfilled the brief and I’ll be signing on again next term. I take part in the classes using Zoom and it worked really well. I enjoyed the small amount of homework given each week.
