Spanish - Beginner

Great tutor, great resources, really surprised how fun and easy it is to learn this way. I will be back. Hasta pronto.

Even though I have studied Spanish for several years I have found the course content and the course methods really useful. The content has been based upon everyday scenarios and usage rather than the more academic approach of my earlier teachers. Lorena has a relaxed manner and is happy to diverge to address questions as they arise. The other class members are very sociable and overall the class is quite fun and time flies by. The teaching methods are very varied and I find that helpful in giving sufficient opportunities for repetition whilst not making it tedious or hard work. The repetition really helps with the learning.

The first thing to say is that Lorena is lovely! The course is obviously educational but good fun at the same time. It is structured well, some weeks harder than others! I am definitely signing up for beginners 2.

The content of the course was a good mixture of grammar and vocabulary with a useful selection of phrases for a beginner. The online exercises were a good follow up to each lesson. Lorena is a very friendly teacher. She was always well prepared and gave positive encouragement to our attempts at conversation. I very much enjoyed my lessons with her and she has given me confidence to ‘have a go’ when I visit Spain.

Lorena is a wonderful teacher. We have a great group for learning and its a lot of fun. I really look forward to our Saturday morning lessons.

I joined the Spanish for Fun lessons half way through and it has been great fun. The activities are very well structured and accessible for everyone. We speak Spanish all the time and the conversations in pairs really help build confidence. I also enjoy following up lessons on the moodle which supports the taught elements. Great teacher :)

Very enjoyable, structured Spanish course in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The emphasis is on speaking the language so the topics revolve around day-to-day situations with useful vocabulary and sentence structure. Lorena is very welcoming and encouraging, making it a fun environment in which to learn.

My wife and I wanted to learn Spanish 'just for fun' and that's exactly what these lessons are. It's a small group of friendly people with a very capable teacher.
