About

Ciao a tutti! I am a native Italian who has always been passionate about languages and travelling and I do believe that being able to speak the language of the place you are visiting makes the whole experience much richer, more authentic and fun.
I started learning English as a child and went on to studying French and German at high school and then graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature (English and Spanish) at university whilst moving to live in London, where I have been for the past 18 years.
I also left my comfort zone of European languages and attended an Arabic course, which was very interesting and fun, but so challenging! Thanks to this course, I know what it means to start a language journey as a complete beginner!
My experience in teaching ranges from children and young adults, to older people wanting to learn or improve a language for business or leisure, so I have learnt to adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs.
Regardless of their age and purpose for learning a language, I always encourage my students to go beyond the textbooks and grammar exercises, and to have fun communicating. Grammar rules are necessary, but useless if you are afraid to communicate, so don't be shy and let's get talking!
I hope you will join me on this fun journey! A presto!
