This face-to-face course will run in Formby.

Beginners 2 “Around the town” 

This course is suitable for learners who have some basic skills like counting, greetings and buying items. You will build up new vocabulary and learn useful language for getting by around town. By the end of this course you will be able to:  

• ask for and give basic directions 

• ask what there is in the area 

• ask and say what time things open 

• find out information about bus times 

• order food in a restaurant 

• say what you like and don’t like 

There are no exams and there is no compulsory homework for this course. We focus on communication, not perfection!

The course will start on Tuesday 13th January 2026 and run for 9 more weeks with a break for half term (14th February). The course costs £165 for 10x 75 min lessons. Please pay a deposit of £50 to reserve your place. I kindly ask that full fees are paid before the first class of the term.
