¡Hola!
I lived in Mexico for 28 years, working for some of that time as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language to pupils of all ages and in a variety of settings, including schools and language institutes. I didn’t speak a word of Spanish when I first arrived in Mexico; I now consider myself pretty much bilingual and I use Spanish every day. I have two languages, I have two passports, I feel part of two cultures, and I feel at home in two countries.
Being able to speak Spanish offers people many benefits, as it is one of the world’s major languages, spoken by hundreds of millions of people in about twenty different countries.
I’ve just recently started with Language for Fun and I really enjoy helping people begin and then grow as Spanish speakers, whatever their interests and needs may be.
