By the end of this course,  you will be able to:

  • have a simple conversation about your family, job, nationality and possessions
  • use the verbs “to have” and “to be”
  • buy food in a shop
  • find out when shops are open and closed
  • use numbers up to 100

Learning languages has been one of my greatest passions since childhood and the process has brought me so much joy and satisfaction. 


I hold a First-Class degree in French, Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Exeter and I am a qualified teacher; I have been teaching French and Spanish in secondary schools for the last 4 years and now I do this alongside teaching adults. Prior to being a teacher, I worked for the Civil Service. 


I am thoroughly enjoying sharing my love of languages with adults in the amazing community of Stroud. When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me on the tennis court or walking in the countryside.
