This face-to-face course will run in Bebington.
Suitable for real beginners or the truly terrified! This course starts with the basics: hello, goodbye, what’s your name; but builds up quickly to short conversations based on your real life. By the end of the course you will be able to:
• greet people
• have a simple conversation about your family, your job, nationality and possessions
• buy food in a shop and get information about opening times
• use numbers to 100
There are no exams and there is no compulsory homework for this course. We focus on communication, not perfection!
The course will start on Friday 17th January 2025 and run for 9 more weeks with a break for half term (21st February). The course costs £165 for 10x 75 min lessons. Please pay a deposit of £50 to reserve your place. I kindly ask that full fees are paid before the first class of the term.

I am passionate about languages and studied French and Spanish at Cambridge University. I am now a qualified Modern Foreign Languages teacher at secondary level and have experience of teaching primary level languages all the way up to A level.
I love visiting new places and have spent time travelling around and volunteering in South America. Whenever I go to a new place I always try to have a go at the local language and can often be found clutching my phrase book with a look of polite terror as the person I am talking to replies to my question at top speed! As a result I am able to empathise with learners who feel nervous about speaking in front of others or who have had similar experiences with languages on holiday.
Whether you are starting from scratch, dusting off your high school French and Spanish or perfecting your language skills, Language for Fun classes provide a supportive and relaxed environment to learn and have fun. I hope you will join us!
