… complete Beginners or learners who may know a little Spanish and want to “brush up” on this day-long crash course.
We cover the same topics as our weekly Beginners 1 class, ie numbers 0-100, greetings, phrases to help you to be understood, introducing yourself and others, basic shopping and days and months. We use the same methodology, ie lots of practice and lots of interaction, but in a shorter time. We do, however, enjoy the use of a private room and tea and coffee all day in a popular country pub. We will have lunch too (ordered in advance) – payable separately on the day.
If you need to “cram” before an upcoming trip to Spain, this would be ideal; or if you want to learn Spanish but can’t commit to a regular weekly class, this is a great alternative.
You will go away with the same materials as our weekly class, and access to our online learning area for 12 months to help you to consolidate and practise what you have learned.
¡Hola!
School exchanges to France and Spain ignited a lifelong passion for learning other languages and cultures, which I love to share. A degree in Modern Languages (Spanish and French) and Marketing Studies led to a work placement in Barcelona, which I still feel is my second home. My first career in banking made me realise how much I missed languages so I trained as a teacher in Adult Education, teaching Spanish to adults whilst my children were young (and taking Italian as a hobby!).
When the opportunity arose to work in schools, I grabbed the opportunity and gained experience in many different schools with children from 5 – 18.
Having joined Language For Fun as a Tutor I was so impressed that I soon became a licensee. I love helping people discover the fun side of learning languages! I look forward to meeting you - Sharon x
