This course is ideal for:

Suitable for real beginners or the truly terrified. This course starts with the basics: hello, goodbye, what’s your name; but builds up quickly to short conversations based on your real life. By the end of the course you will be able to:

greet people
have a simple conversation about your family, your job, nationality and possessions
buy food in a shop and get information about opening times
use numbers to 100

There are no exams and there is no compulsory homework for this course. We focus on communication, not perfection! So no pressure ! The groups are small and relaxed . No one is put on the spot as we use a choral learning approach . Confidence grows when everyone practices together !
The course will start on Tuesday 30th September 2025 and run for 9 more weeks with a break for half term (28th October). The course costs £165 for 10x 75 min lessons. Please pay a deposit of £50 to reserve your place. I kindly ask that the balance be paid before the first class of the term.

bilingual in English and Italian and with studies in Spanish I bring both personal and professional experience to language learning.

I have a strong background in education, beginning my career initially as an infant teacher before moving into Higher Education as a University senior lecturer. Alongside my work in education I developed a passion for languages . I deliver engaging courses that make learning engaging, accessible and empowering for adult learners of all ages.

I am looking forward to sharing my love of the Spanish language and my cultural experiences with whomever wants to learn Spanish at their own pace in a relaxing and enjoyable environment.
