You might be interested to know a bit about me and Language for Fun!
Bonjour je m'appelle Sandra, I am a native French speaker, originally from Metz, Lorraine and I have always worked in the manufacturing customer services, including for play equipment, packaging, and valve industry.
Fourteen years ago, I decided to pursue my passion for the French language and became self-employed. I have been teaching the Award Winning La Jolie Ronde Programmes, offering young children (2 to 12 years) in the West Lothian area the opportunity to learn languages in a fun and progressive way.
I am still thoroughly enjoying teaching nursery, primary and secondary pupils, being awarded twice Licensee of the Year in 2013 and 2018, but I found there was a lot of demand from parents wishing to learn the language in order to help their children as well as become better at French themselves.
It was this that encouraged me to set up language classes for adults and now I am not only lucky enough to enjoy sharing my love for French with children and youngsters but also with adult learners.
With an interest in continuing conversational French across all ages in a structured yet very relaxed way, I am really excited to have joined the Language for Fun team for 2 years and look forward to meeting you soon (albeit online for now!)
Why Language for Fun classes could be just right for you?
We understand how important it is to have opportunities to practise speaking in classes without pressure to “get it right”.
The Language for Fun method allows you to build confidence at your own pace while learning in a relaxed, friendly environment.
There are excellent materials to support learning but no pressure to do homework or tests (unless you choose to).
The Virtual Learning Environment created in 2021 is a big improvement on what was already a great course!
Through termly social events you will have the opportunity to meet like-minded learners and share your experiences of French language and culture.
I personally love sharing and learning more about the language and culture with my students.
Contact me for details on how to join a Language for Fun French class and take your language skills to the next level! À très bientôt!
