The course starts on Tuesday September 29th 2026 and run for 9 more weeks with a break for half term (20th October ). The course costs £170 for 10x 75 min lessons. My name is Patricia and I was born in Milano, Italy, and am proudly bilingual in English and Italian and I studied Spanish at an advanced level in Malaga, Spain. My lifelong passion for languages and communication has shaped both my personal journey and professional career.
Widely published I hold a Doctorate in Education from the University of Sheffield and have a strong background in teaching and educational research. I began my career as an Infant teacher before becoming a University Senior Lecturer , working with both undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of education.
My interest in language acquisition and bilingualism runs deep. I believe that learning another language is far more than acquiring a new skill; it's a way to expand how we think, connect and engage with the world.
As an experienced educator, I deliver engaging and accessible lessons in Italian and Spanish, helping adult learners of all ages build confidence, enjoyment and lasting language skills.
I am looking forward to sharing my love of languages and my cultural experiences with whomever wants to learn Spanish or Italian at their own pace in a relaxing and enjoyable environment.
