This course is ideal for:

Come to our course in one day for complete beginners! Ideal if you cannot commit to regular weekly classes and also if you have an imminent holiday and want to kickstart your Italian journey!

The course will take place in one of the lovely meeting rooms at the back of Butler’s restaurant area. We will then move to the restaurant for food and drinks. The beautiful team at Butler’s will be providing all the scrumptious Italian food and refreshments!

We will be covering the entire curriculum of the Beginners Level 1 programme. The cost is £139.00 and it includes course materials (workbook and vocabulary cards) and 1 year access to Language for Fun’s online learning platform, with an amazing array of extra resources like pronunciation and comprehension videos and a variety of quizzes to help you consolidate your learning. It also includes all the delicious food and drink!

Butler’s postcode is LS5 3BF. It’s six minutes from Leeds city centre and 15 minutes from Bradford by mainline train . There is also free on site parking for Italian for Fun students.

9.45am Arrivals and Registration

Italian Breakfast with a choice of coffee, cappuccino or tea plus a sweet Italian pastry treat!

Tea, coffee and water available throughout the day.

10.00am Morning session

1.00pm-1.45pm Lunch – with one one drink from a choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

1.45pm Afternoon session

4.45pm Aperitivo with nibbles

Aperol Spritz, Prosecco, Vino, Beer or Crodino Spritz (non-alcoholic) plus a range of soft drinks

About

Ciao, I'm Nicoletta, a native Italian speaker originally from Liguria and Rome. My love for languages and travel brought me to the UK years ago and I settled and brought up my family in West London and then Leeds. I am a qualified teacher and worked as a supply teacher in Rome whilst at University.
I have a degree in English, German and Russian and also studied French and I fully understand the challenges of learning a new language but also the fun and satisfaction it brings!
I love being a teacher for Language for Fun and hope you will join us soon!

I’ve nearly completed the beginner’s class in Italian and can’t believe how much we’ve learnt. The lessons are fun and informative and the handouts, crib sheets and videos of the lesson content are invaluable. Each week there’s a different topic with a recap the following week. We have learnt sentence structures and vocabulary that you would actually use on a trip to Italy. Nothing about monkeys in trees � (see Eddie Izzard sketch) I’ve signed up for the next course already.
