Italian for Beginners Level 2 Immersive, fun and interactive One Day Course Saturday with Italian food and drink

Nicoletta is an encouraging and helpful teacher, and her classes are great fun, I really look forward to them! On my recent trip to Florence I was amazed to see how far I had come, thanks to her great teaching.

Language learning is fun with Nicoletta who is always full of life, humour and interesting comments. The speaking practice and personal feedback is really valuable too. Also, I think the teaching materials are good and perfect for doing homework and making notes on. The online resources are good too. It is a good formula for low pressure enjoyable class based learning on-line.

I’ve nearly completed the beginner’s class in Italian and can’t believe how much we’ve learnt. The lessons are fun and informative and the handouts, crib sheets and videos of the lesson content are invaluable. Each week there’s a different topic with a recap the following week. We have learnt sentence structures and vocabulary that you would actually use on a trip to Italy. Nothing about monkeys in trees � (see Eddie Izzard sketch) I’ve signed up for the next course already.

I joined Nicoletta's zoom class for beginners more than halfway through the course, having been learning on Duolingo before this. In just a few lessons I've felt I've made good progress, because Nicoletta is there to explain why a particular grammatical point is why it is, and to give us alternatives where appropriate. Nicoletta is a very patient and engaging tutor, who speaks slowly so that we don't miss some of the more subtle words. The course material provided and the online virtual learning environment are of great quality and are pitched at just the right level. We have breakout sessions where 2 students will ask each other questions and respond in Italian, then we discuss our responses as a group afterwards. I have enjoyed my lessons and been pleased with my progress so much that I have signed up for the improvers' class. If you want to learn Italian in a comfortable and friendly environment, either as a complete beginner or with some prior knowledge, whilst having the emphasis on conversational Italian, then I would highly recommend Nicoletta's courses, either on zoom sessions or in person.

I cannot recommend Nicoletta enough. These courses were exactly what I was looking for- a fun and social environment to learn a language, with an experienced teacher to answer every question we throw at her! Absolutely love classes with Nicoletta and have learnt so so much, nice to find a supportive and non-judgemental environment to give a language a go as a beginner and for those with experience.

I started Nicoletta's Improvers course mid way through the term - but I was made to feel very welcome and settled in quickly! The access to the virtual learning environment helped me catch up with quizzes, pronunciation videos etc. Each session is friendly and well structured so we know exactly what we will be learning each week and what format it will be. I love the Italian food each week too! I know my Italian is improving and it's so much easier than learning alone :) I look forward to returning in the new year! Grazie mille Nicoletta :)

Nicoletta is our lovely, lively Italian Language For Fun Tutor. She is always friendly, helpful & supportive to each student in our small groups. Each week we learn some new vocabulary & new grammar points according to the LfF programme & put it into practice through spoken & written exercises. During Covid lockdown she took us onto Zoom classes which has been great & really helped those of us in prolonged social isolation/lockdown to stay in touch & keep on learning Italian.
