Spanish - Beginner
This course is ideal for:
Beginners who have done a little bit of Spanish before, or who have some words and phrases already, or who have completed our Beginners 1 course. This block is called ‘En la Cuidad’ (In the city) and we learn about places in the town, how to get around, and we build on the topics of shopping and going out to eat, that we started in Beginners 1.
Every lesson has time for conversation in small groups to help you grow in confidence speaking to others, and we also adapt and personalize the conversations on each topic.
Classes are fun, laid back and relaxed and you’ll never be asked to speak in front of the class if you don’t want to.
Don’t worry about missing class if you’re away. All classes can be accessed to the VLA with videos and exercises to keep working.

My name is Julia and I come from Oviedo in the north of Spain. I have lived in many countries apart from Spain: The States, Sweden, France, India and currently I have moved to the UK.
I am a language university lecturer in France, now on a leave, and also a translator and interpreter for Spanish and French.
I have a lot of experience not only in teaching languages but in learning them myself.
