Refreshers “Para Mí” 

This course is suitable for people who can handle simple situations, have basic conversations about themselves, and find out information from others. You may have already learned the past or future tenses but this course is an opportunity to consolidate some of the trickier aspects of Spanish that you might have come across, including some confusing verbs in the present tense, por and para, and ser and estar. 

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• be confident using the verbs
  “ser” and “estar” in the
  present tense
• begin to understand the
  difference between “por” and
  “para”
• begin to understand the
  difference between “qué” and
  “cuál”
• use the two verbs “to know”
  in the right way
• use “this”, “that”, “these” to
  buy food
• use the verbs “to go” and “to
  come” in the present tense
• use pronouns in phrases such
  as “with you” and “for him”
