French - Improver
This course is ideal for:
People who have already done some French; maybe you did French at school a few years ago and are feeling a little rusty or you have already made a start on the basics and want to move on. This block of lessons ‘Ma semaine’ covers talking about what you’ve done in the past week and where you’ve been on holiday and what you did. We will be working on how to talk about past events. The lessons are relaxed and informal, with the emphasis on communication and plenty of opportunities to practise your spoken French..

Bonjour! I'm Florence. I come from Brittany in France. I am a qualified French teacher with a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages and I have been teaching from young children to adults for over 20 years. I can adapt my lessons and pace to my students' needs and learning styles, whether you want to learn or improve for holidays, leisure, studies or work. When living in Poland and Slovakia, I realised how difficult it can be to communicate in a new language but also how enriching it can be to connect with people in their home language, albeit at a basic level initially. I like to create a warm, friendly environment in all my classes. I am very excited about starting offering Language for Fun classes for French in Redcar and Cleveland. I love the approach and I'm sure that you will too. It's fun, interactive and focused on real conversations. communication rather than perfection!
