The Spanish Beginners Class is suitable for those who are new to the language as well as those who need a refresher. Charles is an excellent teacher who makes the classes interesting and fun so that the time flies by. He goes the extra mile to help us learn more than just the basics of the lessons. I have really enjoyed the first course and have already signed up for the next.

I've been meaning to learn Spanish for years and finally decided to do something about it. I saw this course with Language for Fun and I must say, it fills the brief. No pressure, relaxed informal environment and Charles makes the whole experience straightforward and very enjoyable, the evening class races in. As we approach the end of our Beginner 1 course, I'm already looking forward to the Beginner 2 course when it commences in a few weeks' time. Highly recommended.

Charles is a super teacher, he explains everything really well and the classes are always great fun. Previously I had just been teaching myself Spanish via duolingo but it doesn't explain things very well. I also find learning with others helps keep the motivation going.

Having tried to learn French a number of years ago without much success I was a bit nervous at giving it another go. I need not have worried as the 'Language for Fun' course was set to everyone's pace and Charles put everyone at ease. There was no pressure and the teaching was delivered each week in a very relaxed, enjoyable and informative manner and I always came away feeling encouraged and wanting to learn more. As well as the weekly classroom sessions, there are a number of follow-up exercises and quizzes online that are a great way to refresh and follow up on what you have learnt during the week. Charles always went above and beyond to help us grasp the lessons and nothing was a bother to ensure you understand the language in a fun way. I thoroughly recommend this course and I am booked for the next level.

Charles takes everything very slowly and patiently and makes it as easy as possible to follow and understand ,he always has time to answer questions,a great beginners course.

I attended the Spanish beginners level 1 intensive course. Charles is an excellent teacher and very knowledgeable about language generally. The lessons were fun, well structured and paced just right for someone new to the subject. The online resources were also extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this course, it has given me the confidence to use my new skills on my next holiday.

Charles is a fabulous teacher and no matter how many times I pronounced the same word incorrectly his patience never wore out! You cover quite a lot in level one and it gives you a good basic foundation. Thoroughly enjoyed the course and looking forward to level two.

Charles is a great teacher. He makes learning fun. This is my 2nd term & I have enjoyed every lesson. My pronunciation of the language has improved greatly & I am much more confident in conversation. Great class. Would definitely recommend.
