French - Improver
This course is ideal for:
Improvers 3 runs over two terms and is designed for learners who already have some experience with French and want to build confidence and fluency in everyday conversations. Each unit introduces new vocabulary, grammar, and two model dialogues to support speaking and listening skills.
This term’s theme is “J’ai fait, je fais, je ferai” – focusing on talking about home life, friendships, leisure, and travel in the past, present, and future!
Lessons are relaxed and informal, with a strong focus on communication and plenty of chances to practise speaking French in a supportive environment.
First session is commitment-free!
New learners are welcome to join at any time – if you join part-way through the term, you’ll only pay for the remaining lessons.

Bonjour! I’m Florence – welcome to Language for Fun in Guisborough, where you can build your confidence in French in a relaxed, friendly environment.
I’m originally from Brittany, France, and I’m a qualified, experienced teacher with a passion for helping adults enjoy learning and speaking French — whatever your starting point. I love making French feel accessible, and I believe everyone can have real conversations, even without being perfect!
