About

Bonjour! and ¡Hola! I’m Rosemary and I am a qualified modern languages teacher with over 30 years’ experience of teaching both French and Spanish.
My love of the French language began as a teenager on family camping holidays and school exchange visits to France and I subsequently studied both French and Spanish at A Level. I then completed my degree in European Studies with French, which included a year spent teaching English in the small town of Lisieux in Normandy. Spanish is a beautiful language to speak and I have spent many family holidays in Spain recent years.
I am a firm believer in lifelong learning and in my free time I am trying to learn Italian, so I know how daunting it can be to start something new. In my Language for Fun lessons, the emphasis really is on ‘fun’ and I am confident that you will love conversing with other like-minded learners in a relaxed and sociable environment. Communicating is more important than getting it right….and there’s no compulsory homework either! I am passionate about sharing my love of all things French and Spanish with others, so whether you are looking to start a new hobby or brush up on your long-forgotten school languages, I would love to meet you.
Please don’t hesitate to get touch with any questions and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
À bientôt and hasta luego !
